HUMAN PERFORMANCE AND LIMITATIONS COURSE

This human performance and limitations course / HPL course is suitable for both pilots and cabin crew. Human performance and limitations/HPL training is an essential part of flight safety. Human performance is defined as “the human capabilities and limitations which have an impact on safety and efficiency of aeronautical operators”.

Note that, for a cabin crew member to become a certified CRM instructor, a supplemental course in human performance and limitations is EASA requirement in order to achieve CRM instructor certification. The HPL course is designed specifically for cabin crew CRM instructors.

It is also suitable for pilot CRM instructors who have not completed a HPL course as part of the ATPL training.

During the course we cover various aspects of the basic functions of the human body, the brain and other systems that are crucial to maintain situational awareness and stay alive in the artificial environment at higher altitudes. We present the rather complicated and technical contents in an interactive and simple manner.

The human performance and limitations course is usually delivered as a live, online course in a virtual classroom. Ideally, it is to be taken along with our 5-day CRM instructor course to ensure full coverage of the syllabus. Due to the flexible nature of online training timings will arranged accordingly.
