Teaching and learning course (LIFUS)
This teaching and learning course is specifically designed to prepare the line training Captain for the primary tasks associated with the role as line trainer.
The course touches on the principles of the most modern and up to date pedagogy and learning principles.
We practice the line trainer's ability to look for observable behaviours (what to look for and what to listen for) and how to evaluate and give feedback based on factual observations. The line training Captain will equally learn what makes a debriefing effective and constructive and will be given the opportunity to practice. During the teaching and learning course we place focus on the ability to facilitate the debriefing so that we support the learning process and create trust.
We look at the importance of language, tonality and body language as well as the ability to ask constructive questions and using coaching techniques that help the line trainee debrief him or herself.
With an average rating of 4,96 out of five stars the results speak for themselves.

What people say about this course
Thank you so much for the course today. I learnt how to be an effective instructor with your topics about discovering what my most important role is as a line trainer. Other topics on what promotes and hinders learning were vital for me . My most important take away is the debriefing especially how to be facilitative and ask open questions to lead to a self diagnosis of the trainee's performance. I learnt how praise and reward can be a more effective and appropriate tool to motivate and inspire trainees to achieve desired goal. In some of my past experiences, negative feedbacks have made the learning process unenjoyable and frightening and doing this correctly is very very important to me.
The course was broad. It covered every aspect of what I would like to see in my instructors and pretty much what kind of instructor I would like to be. It was very detailed and interactive. I still find it amazing how answers from our interactive sessions are all connected and becomes sort of an eye opener when placed next to the lessons which helps us re-evaluate the choices we have made and by our selves, improve on them. An educative and enlightening self discovery process. Without a doubt, Jesper is the best CRM instructor I have seen in my entire career.

COMPLIANCE
We take full responsibility for compliance (we have had a few CAA inspectors overlooking our shoulder several times). We cover ALL topics as required by the regulators around the world. But we do it in a way that surprises and challenges the individual´s perception of themselves and the people around them.
